THINKING OF THE CHILDREN

After a steep and rolling climb, our Kilimanjaro 2023 team has made it into Mawenzi Tarn Camp at 14,200 ft.
Today, they went on an acclimatization hike (a hike with no packs, just water) to acclimatize to the altitude while enjoying a beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro!
At the previous camp (Kikelewa Camp) they flew their prayer flags with the names of loved ones and kids from BC Children's Hospital on them, and have been thinking of the kids as they work their way up the mountain.
The team is getting some much needed rest tonight before pushing on to School Hut Camp with sunny skies in the forcast.
