MOUNT EVEREST - CHRIS DARE
Chris Dare is a Victoria, BC resident, an amateur high-altitude mountaineer and a 17 year veteran with the Canadian Armed Forces. In March 2019, he will be attempting to climb Mt Everest and be only the 23rd Canadian and 417th person worldwide to complete the 7 summits. The 7 summits is a mountaineering challenge to reach the highest mountains on each of the 7 continents. Chris will be donating some of his fundraising to Summits of Hope and BC Children's Hospital, while he takes on this very exciting and massive challenge.

After a steep and rolling climb, our Kilimanjaro 2023 team has made it into Mawenzi Tarn Camp at 14,200 ft.
