About Me
I joined the RCMP in 1961 and after serving for 28 years with the police force, I retired in 1989. I then entered into the field of Private Investigating, which I did for a period of 10 years, and I was also a Provincial Coroner for these years and I left both fields of employment in 2001 when I was elected to the B.C. Provincial Legislature as the MLA for Bulkley Valley Stikine. I was re-elected in 2005 and made a decision before the 2009 Provincial Election that I would not seek re-election. In 2009 I retired once again, to empty my "bucket list". My wife and I just returned (April 2014) from Australia where we spent the last 8 weeks. I look forward to the challenges both in fund raising and climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro with my wife, daughter and grand daughter.
