About Me

I grew up in Grand Forks BC. I studied forestry which lead to career with the Ministry of Forests as a forest firefighter. When I wasn't fighting forests fires I would travel. Some of my travels include backpacking around Africa, volunteering in South America and teaching English in China. I eventually left the Ministry to pursue a career as a city firefighter. I currently work as firefighter for the City of New Westminster. Serving the City of New Westminster has been a great opportunity to help those in need. Having recently lost and uncle and another family member to cancer, I was looking for another way in which I could help. That's when Summits of Hope came along. What better way to help out then to help young children. Every dollar you donate goes to the children, whether it be cancer research, physiotherapy, or putting smiles on their faces by delivering them some toys. Please support my climb and donate!
