"Keep your eyes on the stars, and your feet on the ground"...... In January 2025, I will once again be following my dreams. I will be leaving on a mountain trekking expedition with Summits of Hope - a Vancouver-based non-profit association, and an official partner of the BC Children's Hospital Foundation. Our team will be making the journey to Torres del Paine National Park in the Patagonia region of Chile. Our mission is a very special one - to raise money for children and their families at BC Children's Hospital. We will be trekking this famous circuit over several days, travelling with our team of climbers through this special land of river, lakes, mountains and glaciers. The funds that we raise together will support research, patient care, education, and advocacy for BC Children's Hospital. The climbers on our team are all volunteers. We pay our own way, so fully 100% of your donations go to support children and their families. I have promised to raise at least $5,000 in donations, so I need your help! Would you please consider making a donation to support my efforts in this exciting challenge? You can purchase one or more prayer flags - in honour of someone special, in memory of a loved one, or just to send along your good wishes to our team. You can even request a personal message to be written on your flag. I promise to carry it in my backpack, fly it in the winds of the national park, and return it safely to you! At Summits of Hope, we believe that "Everybody has a Mountain to Climb". We are climbing for children and their families who are dealing with serious illnesses.
