About Me

What do you say when you're invited to not only climb Africa's highest peak, but to climb it in support of BC Children's hospital? You say yes. And you don't hesitate. It is a privilege to be one of the climbers on the 2015 team that will reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in October. Global BC works closely with BC Children's throughout the year and as a result I get to see first hand the incredible work and dedication of the health care professionals who work tirelessly and care passionately for the children and families that utilize the hospital and its resources. I've never had to battle a serious illness or recover from a life-threatening injury. Climbing this mountain and raising some money will help to ensure that the children and young adults at BC Children's can recover and live healthy, happy lives. Thank you for your support.
