About Me

As a medical sales consultant, I work with hospitals and hospital foundations on the purchase, installation and training of medical equipment. Before working in medical, I had no idea just how important hospital foundations were and how much capital equipment and important procedures are due to funding raised through hospital donations. I'm very excited to be on the other side of things this time and help raise donations for the BC Children's hospital to support the kids who need it the most. I spend much of my time hiking and enjoying the outdoors, but this will be my first long distance high altitude hike. My boyfriend Patrick Whibley and I are going to be sharing this challenge and raising donations together, but neither of us are looking forward to losing control of our bodily functions, as Russ said can happen to the climbers at high altitude! Thanks to Jason Lawson for introducing and inspiring us to join the Summits of Hope. Jason hiked Everest Base Camp with Summits in honor of his amazing son Beckett who is in remission from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
