About Me
New experiences are always thrilling for me and I feel so lucky to be having my first trip to Nepal be with such an incredible association. This will be my first trek with Summits of Hope and I am beyond excited to do so.
Being a travel and outdoor enthusiast, I am always searching for new and interesting ways to challenge myself while contemplating a new destination. Hearing about SOH a year ago I was hooked on the idea. Knowing so many people, my family included, that have benefited from the use of BC Children's Hospital I naturally felt drawn to the cause and the thought about taking part in it was never far from my mind. I've wanted to volunteer my time with BC CHildren's Hospital and Canuck place for many years now but found myself residing in Kelowna and unable to do so. Once the opportunity came to combine my two passions, adventure and travel, with giving back and helping those in need I jumped on the chance and couldn't be more enthusiastic and proud to apart of this amazing team of people!
Going to the Himalaya's and trekking to the base of the highest mountain in the world is the experience of a lifetime, so to now do so while supporting the lives of sick kids in our province is truly a dream come true for me.
All the funds I raise will go 100% to BCCH , so please donate freely (prayer flags are always a great idea) and help me achieve my goal of $7500 or more!
