ROHIN MANHAS

About Me

Rohin Manhas is a high school student from Richmond, BC, and joined the Summits of Hope organization in 2023. He enjoys going on long walks with his dog, and doing hikes in unique places. He is always looking for a way to give back to the community, so when he heard about Summits of Hope, he jumped at the opportunity to help children in need. When he turns 19 years old, Rohin plans to join the Summits of Hope climbers going to trek Mount Kiliminjaro! As one of the first Summits of Hope Future Climbers, Rohin is involved in organizing various activities to inspire youth to get involved such as planning local hikes and other fundraising activities. Rohin decided to use his passion for reading to write a children’s book called “Atop the Mountain”. In his book, Rohin promotes the Summits of Hope goal of climbing mountains for children who cannot. All proceeds from the sales of Rohin’s book will be donated to BC Children’s Hospital.
