About Me

Kilimanjaro 2023 will be my first climb and it brings many emotions. My nephew was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2007, at age 3 & because of BC Children’s hospital, he is 19 years old & cancer-free! Visiting BC Children’s impacted our family, we have never forgotten that health is a blessing and the continued importance of giving back. I am joining my brother, Jason Lawson, who has participated in past climbs. Growing up, he always encouraged me to push limits on the ski hill, mountain biking, rock climbing, water skiing, hiking and now travelling across the world, uniting our passion to help families who need BC Kids by putting one foot in front of the other and climbing for a cause. My heart & support crew at home: my husband, business partner and best friend, Peter and two adult daughters Kezia & Olivia. Together, we built our family business in sport fishing & marine adventures, located on Vancouver Island.
