About Me

My daughter got interested in BC Children's Hospital and Summits of Hope as a way to help. So I looked into it too, and found out that kids from the Yukon with cancer generally go to BCCH (did I mention, I live in Whitehorse). I saw a statistic - in 2011 there were 768 visits by Yukon kids. Now, the whole entire population of the Yukon is about 36,000 people, it's not a crowded place. 768 seems like quite a significant number! I certainly find it compelling, so I have joined this worthy cause. If you are a Yukoner I sincerely hope you will agree with me that BC Children's Hospital is an important and worthy cause for sick Yukon kids, and that you will dig deep to make a significant donation to help the good people at BCCH keep doing their best for them.
